Terms of Service

Term The Service is provided to you for as long as you wish to use it, however we withhold the right to terminate the service if you use it in a way that violates the terms of use. The Service is provided to authorised persons or organisations (referred to in this document as "visitor" or "you"). Any use of the service is subject to any restrictions listed below. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by all of theses Terms and Policies. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Policies, you must close the site immediately and may not thereafter use or attempt to use the Service. Discord Terms You agree to obey the terms indicated and detailed below when you join our Discord Server. If you break these terms/rules in the UpBeat Discord at any point, your access to select channels, voice channels, or the Discord Server itself may be limited and/or permanently restricted. 1. No excessive capitalisation or spamming. 2. No sexually explicit content is permitted to be posted. 3. Show consideration for all members and staff. 4. Use your common sense. 5. Do not use obscene, hateful, inappropriate or derogatory language. 6. Do not speak a language other than English. Use a translator if you're unable to speak English. 7. Don't use voice channels to project yourself. This includes but is not limited to, playing loud audio, making yourself louder than others to be heard or being annoying. 8. Do not advertise. This includes but is not limited to, other Discord Servers, other online radio stations or websites. 9. Do not send anything that could be malicious to devices such as phones, tablets or computers. Giveaways / Competitions To participate in any giveaways or competitions, entrants must be registered with UpBeat. If gifts or prizes are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, we will notify you via our Discord server or social media. All gifts and prizes do not have a specific start time to allow entrants in many timezones to participate; however, they can and will have a set finish time to provide us time to gather up all the entries and randomly select a winner. All claimers/winners are monitored and logged and your User ID is stored the moment you claim a gift or enter a giveaway. As a result of this, we know who has claimed a certain item or entered a certain giveaway. We withhold the right to terminate your entry or entries if you use it in a way that violates the terms of use. If you are unable to claim, accept or receive a gift, it will be awarded to the next probable winner or preserved for a future giveaway. If a person manipulates their chances by using methods such as (but not limited to) alternative/duplicate accounts, they will not be counted, and most, if not all, awards/gifts/items/prizes will be lost and awarded to the next likely winner. Suspension / Ban UpBeat reserves the right to suspend/ban any visitor at any time if we see fit, including if you are found to be abusing these terms. Our Staff Our staff deserve the right to work in a safe, and non-abusive environment. As such, we kindly remind you that swearing, or being abusive towards our staff is prohibited. Discord Bot The UpBeat Discord Bot is provided to you as long as you wish to use it, however we withhold the right to terminate the service if you use use it in a way that violates the terms of use.
